After a tumor was removed from my neck, my left vocal cord was paralyzed. As a result, I could only speak very quietly and with great effort, which severely affected my quality of life. After a year and many hours of speech therapy with no improvement in sight, I was devastated. I therefore decided to have vocal cord augmentation. After doing research and seeing several different ENT doctors, I decided to have outpatient surgery with Dr. Wohlt in Berlin because he works with autologous fat rather than synthetic fillers. I was also impressed by the well-organized practice and the very friendly care, whether by phone or in person. I made the right decision and am extremely happy with my wonderful ‘new’ voice. Everything Dr. Wohlt told me beforehand about the expected treatment result, which at times I could hardly believe, came true. I have a voice again and everyone can hear me. I am simply very happy and very grateful.
